Over the past few months, we welcomed 5 new Heart Hunters to Expliciet across various divisions. Each one is passionate about their craft, but what else do they live for?

‘Within Expliciet? For now, I’m the oldest man on the team and I walk around with a beard (laughs).’
‘I’ve been lucky enough to do a lot surrounding my professional passion already. From writing a book about web development to giving talks and evening classes about my profession. Now my ambitions lie more on the home front: tackling the interior of my house. I try to carry out one major project per room every year.’
‘Spotting mistakes in series or films. Writing clean, clear, short, and readable code. Making things simpler and more structured is completely in my nature. And besides that, I speak several languages fluently.’

‘I take on every challenge with pleasure.
And perhaps also by my clumsiness, which often causes the necessary hilarity (laughs).’
‘I’ve often been complimented on my eagerness to learn and the fact that I process new information quickly. That gives me the drive to persevere and to keep learning.’
‘Something very simple: if I start the day with a carton of chocolate milk, any morning grumpiness disappears instantly. Besides that, I love being surrounded by family and friends. I’m a very open person, so I love sharing and listening to others.’

‘I can get very enthusiastic about the smallest things. But not in the morning. Then I usually need a moment to wake up, preferably with some music and hot tea.’
‘Dancing and being social. I’ve been dancing since I was three. Today, I pass that passion on to children. Additionally, I can always strike up a conversation with anyone. If you don’t stop me, I’ll probably still be going hours later (laughs).’
‘My cats Gus and Finn, real cuddle bugs. And good food—you can always wake me up for that!’

‘First and foremost, that I can always enjoy going to work. My big dream is to one day run my own coffee shop that turns into a cozy aperitif bar later in the day.’
‘Planning and being forward-thinking. I’m also steadfast: if I want to be able to do something, I’ll do everything in my power to achieve it.’
‘I can be very happy with the little things: the first coffee in the morning, a beautiful sunset, reading a book in the sun, fresh sheets, watching a movie while it’s raining outside…’

‘I often hear from others that I’m a very good listener. People share things with me easily and quickly. That empathy is a real asset, I think. Just like being able to stay calm in moments of chaos.’
‘Pursuing happiness and helping my children grow up to be great adults. And professionally: becoming a strong account manager, hopefully with plenty of fun clients and inspiring projects along the way.’
‘Spending time with my household, family, and friends. But also traveling, dining out, and just experiencing fun things. As long as I can share it with the people around me.’
